cant find much info on the actual engine on my vento phantom R4i. engine code on the case is VE153QMI. supposed to be 150cc. but word around the net can is that vento mismarketed. and according to the EPA this is in fact a 124.95cc engine. So anyone here know this is my first gy6. and im considering swapping the motor to either the italjet or the Venice.

What year is it? The older pre-04/05 phantoms were sold as 150cc, but actually 125cc in displacement. Once this was found out by public they switched to a genuine 150cc in the newer models 05+

are you thinking of swapping the gy6 into either of those bikes? properly tuned minarelli will net bigger gains, but gy6 in something like a venice would be pretty fun and fast

i think it was an oh four. prob just gonna fab up a bracket and mount it to the rat scoot im building for the pops. looks fresh with the 13 rear 10 front springer forki of the TNG frame im using. im not concerned with speed to much for the pops, hes only got one leg so any scoot is as close to his old bike that hes gonna get..... thanks yo.

oh im still looking for a rear wheel for the Vino Motor i originally bought for the above mentioned project. if you know where i can find one. its from an 04 Vino. thx.
