I'm in the market for a helmet since my black Stella will be arriving soon. Where is the best place to buy one? Should I buy it online or a local store? Any recomendations?
I live in the Provo area by the way.
Thanks,
John

I like to buy my helmets and other scooter/motorcycle stuff at a local dealer. I think it helps build a relationship with them (sappy). Unless they're jerks they I buy online!

Just do a search on eBay... I got a snell approved full face for $60.00 (new) and a half helmet for $26.00...
At a store I'd have paid at least 2 times that amount...
eBay is a great place... Just DO NOT BUY A USED HELMET! AS you don't know it's history... Remember that helmets are good for one accident or " handle bar level" drop!

With what King said...
I bought my kid his off road style helmet (best fit and price they had for a 4 year old) and paid $100.00 for it at my yamaha dealer!!!...
It's just DOT and nothing special...
My 2 helmets cost less than his one... and he's only work it once as it's funny having the face shield part dig into my back... Now he has a 3/4 that we got (at the AAFES, the military base store) for $45.00...

I ended up buying mine at The Scooter Lounge. They gave me a deal and I got some legshield chrome stuck on the Stella at the same time.

I found the prices here reasonable...

I bought this model for the scooter

and this on for the motorcycle

Two things you could think about for a moment..
with a faceshield wind and debris is eliminated but it could get a little hot on sunny days - or-
a half helmet will let you wear glasses and give you a breeze but bugs and pebbles hitting your face is annoying
