Okay... I know this isn't the best "test" but I had pulled the scooter outside and the tires had a tiny bit of moisture on them...

well I gunned the throttle... and with a tiny bit of moisture... I spun... the tire... so I scooted forward where it was dry... and it did it again... with me sitting on the scooter and no breaks on... it simply spun the tire... My garage floor is kinda slick but it didn't do this before!

I was impressed... I can't wait for spring... the upgrades and talking about it are driving me nuts... I jsut want to ride the thing... and the more I think of it.. unless I go somewhere warm... it's possible to not be able to ride after the beginning of july! as it'll be in a box and shipped from july through most of august...

but we'll see!

Dude, that must be hella hard! It's like a kid waiting till christmas, except 100 times harder!!! I say, once the weather gets a little better, take it for a quick spin!

So jered you were doing a burnout on dry ground?and how is it possible to to do a burn out like that wont the clutch slip? i understand u dont have belt slippage but u can never get ride of clutch slippage...i mean i have a friend that has a honda dio 114cc kit with a 30mm carb and what not and he isnt even doing a burnout...i mean the main thing is clutch slippage jered i just dont seem to understand how it doenst slip?

The thing is how does it do a burnout? doesnt the clutch slip from all that power.. what it just spins like a dragster is that what ur saying.

what I mean is that tire spun as the scooter moved forward... you also have to account for the "slick" pavement in the garage as well as the 3 foot of travel I had before having to let go of the throttle...

as I said... it's wasn't the most accurate conditions to do it but it still spun the tire without holding the breaks...

I've figured that after having horrible belt slip with the stock style variator and belt with light weights... or the horrible acceleration with heavy weights and no belt slip... that the over range kit was the greatest upgrade yet... it appears to have eliminated all the belt slip... I have the delta clutch... and after the engine rev's... it grabs and flies....

So... as said before... more info to come when spring finally hits...
