I ended up making a interesting mounting bracket for it... was much easier and no welding needed...

The scooter is lookin pretty good Jered. But I'm guessing that you still aren't done with it yet, probably more body stuff.

sort of...

grade 8, 3/8" bolts... with 1/4" x 1" strip of steel on the top and bottom of the cross brace under the floor panel...

I mounted 3 bolts through it so it was "strong and would support the weight"... then mounted the kickstand on the underside as the instructions stated from the place I bought it...

Great stuff Jered.
It's crazy how much you get done with a big family.
I can't get much done alone

well.. nap time is awesome! I actually get most of my install and mods done during 1 hour naps times... The older 2 (4 year olds) are pretty good and keeping themselves busy...

Besides that it's winter in alaska... it's either make more kids or find something else to entertain the time... and I don't want more kids... you know!

Hi Jered,

I really need one of these kickstands as I can't lift the bike on the stock stand. How can I get one? It sounds difficult? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Did you view the how to section? It's got info on how I installed mine...

I'd look on ebay and try and find a cheap used one... then work that... as mine cost me over $60 for it and was not bolt on... there are some that mount via a clamp to the frame... might be an option...
