84 honda spree

Does anyone know what if any years the spree motors will inner change ???
I have a 1984, and was looking at a 1986. I just was given this one and alot too learn.

all of the spree motors will fit. if you ever want to make that bike really nice, get yourself a 94 or newer honda elite (dio) motor. with just minor mods you can get that spree up too 65mph.

dont spend too much money on that spree motor, for the same price you can get a dio motor.

My guess is that the dio replaced the spree ??? like the vino replaced the razz.

no, its just that the dio engine has tons of parts around and the spree doesnt have anything.

you should be able to find those parts kinda cheap.

ya, never in a package deal, one at a time. Hate buying that way, shipping kills the deal.

Which Dio motor? I read that there are 2. 50cc and 100cc. I would imagine the 100 would be hard to find.
