First off, thanks to all for the advice given. I acted upon it, and bought a TN'G LS 49 for my mom today-the older lady that dislikes driving. She gave me a minor heart attack ;) watching her learn to take off, and experience a two-cycle powerband. But she loves it, and is going to get better at finessing the throttle and learning the controls within a short time.

Is there a windshield available for the LS, and is there any recommendation regarding break-in other than what I was told by the dealer-1/2 throttle for about 200 miles. Additionally, is there accessory wires where I could install a power port to charge a cell phone or power a little CD player? Thanks.

Hi, I have an LS49 also.Had mine over a year now. Great scoot! The break in procedure is on page 12 in your owner's manual.
There is no windshield available as far as I know.
I ware a 3/4 helmet with a full face shield, that works fine for me. As to the power port, I have no info on that. I suggest she doe's the break in by staying in the residential area before venturing out into heavier traffic. This will also give her time to adjust to riding again.
Enjoy, Larry.

just use a generic cig lighter form Pep Boys, and attach it to the battery...... or the ignition, your choice...

Thanks for the replies-I've been OOT working, and am now just getting back. I got a weatherproof power port and mounted it on the inner fairing? cowl? Just got the plates mounted-P.S for anyone in Texas that looked at the DPS website and it shows only a T'NG Vino as registerable as a moped, tell'em to try it again.

Hello, Larry. Unfortunately, the dealer misplaced the manual, and is ordering it. Meanwhile, T'NG sent a link to a PDF manual-downloaded, but not read yet. I got her a half-helmet and some MX goggles, since she wears glasses. She lives in BF Texas, and can count on one hand the cars that go by. I come over and ride alongside/behind on my Ninja to observe.
