i thought i would start the scoot up today. being only 18 deg out is a little to cold for the zuma. first it wouldnt start, then it starts and just sputters, after leting it warm up for about 20 mins it still bogged when givin it gas. after riding it through the snow in the backyard for a few min it finally warmed up enough to get it's pep back with no more bogging. so i guess 18 deg is a little to cold for it.
plus i took some more pics that i put in the scoot garage. look at the pics of the cracked plastic that my girlfriends brother did when he crashed it a couple of weeks ago. it not bad but it still made me mad.

those a nice pics - too bad about the crack. You could probably epoxy it back together and put a sticker over it... Like a sticker that looks like a band-aid? Or maybe nothing at all - Zuma's are s'posed to look tough, right?

BTW, I envied your 18 degrees a few days ago - last few days have ranged between 7 below and 26 below. But I shouldn't really talk - if it was crappy here, it was most likley crappier up in Alaska... :)

I can still ride if I bundle up enough. 40-50 degrees here in Cali. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't ride. I feel for you folks with snow on the ground! :(

I actually like a little bit of snow. It's kind of a "Love/Hate" relationship. Either that or it's "I love to hate snow"

It's ice that I really, really hate.

What is it that you have to do to the engine to make it run better in cold weather? I know I read it somewhere once... Just can't remember now...

have to rejet for your scoot to run in this cold weather.

Dealers have it set up to run when "normal" people ride, not 18 degree weather.

Snowing here now.... fun fun!
