WASSUP! where are all the fast vinos. so far only the zuma guys are really modding their bikes. vino guys get on the ball, the vinos can be way faster then zumas because they are way lighter.

It's all a matter of trends. When this board started and when I joined, we had 0 Zumas riders. Then we had nothing but TNG members, now it looks like the trend is moving towards Vento riders on here.

Vento Riders? It seems like all we got are zuma riders on the boards these days. I was planning on fully modding my lil vino for awhile, but ended up just buying a mojito :)!

I've ridden both and IMO the vino handled a lil better on the streets, more nibble ya know. But the major plus you zuma guys got are disk breaks... they come in handy once you add all the mods and reach those 60+mph figures.

i up-graded my jog to disk brakes because i am building my jog to go at least 85mph and the disk will come in handy then.

Hi Ridah :)

No... my Vino isn't stock. I have the Stage One kit installed and the taller S1 tires. I do know for a fact that my speedo is accurate because I checked it at 40 mph indicated on a run by one of those stand alone radar units that the local constibulary had set up to slow local traffic down and it was within 1 mph of matching.

I got the speedo needle to swing to the left of the oil pressure light using the medium roller weights that came with the Technomoto VarioPlus, and this was on flat ground. I was also able to stay with the flow of traffic on a four lane highway with a posted limit of 55 mph. I have since switched to the red one piece Malossi rollers. They're lighter and my top speed is now only a bit over 50 mph, but my acceleration and hill climbing performance are greatly improved, but I can now only get my speedo needle into the turn signal indicator light on the flat.

Of course I probably weigh less than you guys, but still, that's pretty impressive performance. I've since decided to switch to the Malossi MultiVar... I will be posting a full report when I'm all done and have everything tweeked for optimum performance. I've also installed ventilation holes in strategic locations on my transmission cover and the whole assembly runs a lot cooler now... should do a lot for tranny component longevity.
