Right at 300 miles. What now?

What do I need to check? Do? Anything yet?

I've developed a off/on squeak, I hear it when Im going slow (possibly b/c when Im at FT cruising speed I can't hear it over the motor) and its like an eee-ee-eee (sorry, no other way to desribe it.) And my battery is still full so far.

I had to re-adjust my rear brake (just turn the nut?).

My experience is that the rear brake adjustment nut does back off, cauasing to much play in the hand lever. Here was my solution;

Turn it till the hand lever has no more play, then squeeze some BLUE locktite right behind and up to the nut. This stopped my rear brake adjusting nut from moving for so far 1000 miles. Why blue? Because it can be removed with a wirebrush, yet does the job.
