CRAP and here i thought i was done.

well i get out of bed, get ready for work, and i step out the door, push the scooter to the driveway.

and it wont start.
i kill the battery.
i try to kick start it, but nothing happens, wont even turn over.

i got the bat hooked up to a charger, took off the cover.
the black thing that the kickstarter hits is sorta stripped.
not only that, but the finned pully is loose again.

SO WTF!
here i thought i was done with the exception of the spring, it was running so nice and all of a sudden its dead.

short of replacing the crank shaft, and that black thing...
all i can do is try using locktite on the nut.

but i need something more reliable.
my vento has been nothing but trouble since i got it.

anyone want to buy a 70cc vento zip r3i for spare parts? :D
it will run once i get the battery charged.
600 miles, only 80 are on the new 70cc cylinder/variator/carb

sorry, i was pissed off and frusterated when i posted that.

i charged up the battery, kick start is definitely not working, its not even catching when i use it.
locktite should fix the prob with the nut working itself loose... but the mechanic should have threaded it the other way in the first place.
(so it would work itself tighter, not loose)

i had it going 60mph today, i think having a fully charged battery makes a pretty big difference.

however, im sorta serious about wanting to sell it and get something else.
so i will entertain serious offers, buyer would have to come pick it up or arange for shipping.

if i do, it will be one of the scooters that will do 65+ stock.
id realy like to get out of the whole 50cc 2stroke thing and into something bigger.

im actuly looking around for a used cycle.
there is a 600cc (i think) suzuki savage at the local yamaha dealer.
but i have a friend that may be willing to trade a 250 ninja, for my boat motor and some cash. so i duno what will happen.

another scooter would be nice but i duno right now.
