Okay I went through all my spare parts and pitched all the "JUNK"... anyway before I did I decided to post some pics of what the parts looked like so you guys that haven't tuned your yet have an idea of what your looking at when you finally get there!
Here is some pics of a stock ~VS~ technomoto variator
and NO the parts were trashed you wouldn't have wanted them so don't ask! LOL!
as you can see the technomoto variator face appears a little larger then the stock one... It's not much but more face means more possible power!

this is a pic of the roller trays and the guide that they slide against...
unfortunately I have to say the stock guide IMO looks better built than the technomoto one... however the tray is angled differently and allows for more power and speed...

rollers for 3 different variators... here is what they are
Unfortunately I couldn't get a good pic so you'll have to live with the blurry ones...
The solid black (slip weights) are the technomoto ones... CHEAP! HORRIBLE and wear out VERY FAST... IMO they work for about 100 miles or less and are not a long term part... they are ment to figure out a good weight combo for your set up and order the right size and pitch the ones that came with the kit...
The blue ones are the stock size, notice they are smaller than the other 2... they will not work properly due to the size differnce... You can use them but they aren't going to roll right and they can wiggle in the roller trays... Fine for the stock variator but not what a tuned one needs...
The Black ones with the writing on the side, are the malossi brand ones that came with my over range kit. These are the ones that also come with the malossi multivar... IMO they are good quality and are a long term part... They are clearly labeled on the roller what the gram weight is for easy replacement and not having to guess if you forget what the weights were to start with...

Here is a pic of the difference in the stock and technomoto torque springs...
I don't have a pic of the malossi one included with these other ones as it's installed and I didn't want to tear into the tranny for the pic... sorry...
the technomoto one is 2 times the size of the stock one, and suprisingly is also larger than the malossi one... However the malossi ones come in % increments to allow for "PERFECT" tuning as apposed to the technomoto one that comes with shims to allow for more accurate tuning!

last part to show is the difference between the stock and malossi finned pulley half...
Clearly the malossi one is better quality with the larger fins which allow for better cooling of the tranny as well as IMO it's a hair bigger to allow for a higher belt ride than the stock set up...

I was thinking, since the Malossi Finned Pulley is bigger with bigger fins wouldn't it actually take more engine power to spin it? In theory bigger fins means more air resistance, right? So in the end it make your scooter a little slower.

I have heard that the malossi finned pulley doesn't fit onto Vento transmissions. I am wondering if this is true or not.
