Dear all:
I am a new member to the forum.
Does anybody know a good mechanic for my '04 Zuma in the Washington, D.C. area? I want to de-restrict and modify it but all of the dealers I contact seem a bit wishy-washy and unsure if they want to do it.
Thanks...
Lennox

Maybe I should move to the DelMarVa area, and open a performance shop!
Monty, it seems as though a couple of other members are having the same problem in that same area!

IMO the reason that shops are unwilling to touch them...
It's not as simple as put the parts on and your done.... it takes some fine tuning...
They could invest a LOT of time and effort into putting a stage 1 or 2 on a scooter and it could cost them more than they could "nicely" charge you for it... as well as voiding the factory warrenty!

I had my Yamaha Vino worked in Route 1, Northern VA close by to the Wal-mart. They are an authorized Yamaha dealer. They did a good job on my stage 1 for my Vino. :)
