Well ill admit its been a while, but the Zip is about to see its 4th light. In light of the crazy gas prices and such,I have decided to get her running again. In addition to that,im also starting my own repair and upgrade shop here in Charlotte NC.I have noticed a large increase in the sales of scooters as well as seeing them on the road.Somebody has to fix them at a reasonable price, and its not going to be the dealership. Also,I know not all of these people want to keep their 35mph top speeed so ::handleba Here is a couple of pics I took with my crappy cell phone cam of some carter work ive been doing until I get my new motor parts.

I will have more later on when I go get my real camera back.

Thanks again to all you guys who inspire me to do more and more to my scoot. There have been alot of firsts done on this scooter, this is why I refuse to let it all go to waste.I will see these parts and others go into production.SO STAY TUNED FOR SOME CRAZY SCOOTER TUNING MADNESS!!!!!!

Haha...well my last setup got around 60mpg..now thats not bad,but its not near what it really could get.Im going to be taking it easy this time around on this setup.Dont need the wife flippin again about me blowing up another motor.Im just about finished with polishing out the motor.Ill have pics of that up soon.My 54mm cylinder will go in the mail in 2 days.We had some issues with what I was supposed to get.But as soon as it gets here,I will port it,take pics, and finish the rebuild.Im going to be working on the paint soon so stay tuned for alot of updates this week.

It sounds like the Charlotte area is great for scootering. Scooterinvasion.net is based
out of NC, and they seem to have a good following. Local scooter clubs are the ****!
