Saw some people talking about how high they live screwing with it. Anyone in Florida have any problems? I'd hate to do this, only to have to get re-jetted. last question I swear.

hrmmm, took the pipe off everything went smooth. But alas, no restricter washer or cone..just the gasket. Looks like someone took it off, but still can only get like 31 mph tops. Haven't taken the gear restrictier off, got a new plug.. but haven't cleaned the air filter yet. When I looked at the actual opening to the engine from the pipe is seemed oval..like not fulled opened. I tried to get it off..thinking it was just gunk..but it was metal. Anyone have any ideas?

Two things come to mind.
Worn belt.
Low compression.

hope its just a worn belt. Think thats my project for tomorrow, take off the crank case, clean and polish...take out the gear resticter and check the belt.
