Quick Piston Question

I forgot to write down which way the piston sits in the cylinder. Do the little holes on the piston go towards the intake or the exhaust?

If I recall correctly I think they went towards the intake.

There should be a small arrow on the top of the piston. This should point towards the exhaust.
