2strokes a very simple, there are only 3 things needed to run.....

#1. Spark
#2. Fuel
#3. Compression

you must be lacking one of these!

Well, i believe the compression is good, gaskets and everything are installed. If you could run down the instructions for making sure ive got fuel that would be great....But i have gave the cylinder head a few shots of starting fluid to try and get it started and it still hasnt started....And i have checked to make sure im getting spark, and theres spark, is it a possibility the spark is not being created inside the cylinder or not enough spark?...I ordered brand new plugs from the vento factory so there should be enough spark...

take the two larger hoses off your carb..... suck on the smaller of the two, and fuel should come out the larger of the two.... make sence? This will tell you if your carb is getting fuel.....

If you tried ether (starting fluid) and it did not work, then I would lean towards the compresion or spark...... oh, and by the way Ether is not good on 2 cycles

When the two hoses are disconected gas is continually coming out of the hose, its doesnt take sucking to get it out, does that mean something is connected rong?....I used auto zones starting fluid...never heard of ether?....lol

starting fluid is VERY potent and shouldn't be used on a 2 stroke...

The other thing... the fuel running.. means your fuel shut off switch is bad...

Meaning you probably have flooded the carb... if it's pooring out without the vacume switch being SUCKED on.. then your probably flooded and when you try to start it... it's pure fuel in the intake and not able to get air in there...

Is the plug SOAKED when you remove it?

I had no clue they had fuel shut off switches, but anways, since i already used starting fluid on my scooter, is it bad....and no the spark plug is fine when removed, what do I do to fix the gas problem?

you could leave it busted and add a "petcock" ( I love that word ) or you could replace it.... it is located directly under the fuel cell.....

The problem with ether (starting fluid) is that it has NO lublicating properties.... kinda like running with no oil... not a good idea to do often....

Petcock? Im a newbie to the correct working of the scooter but im a great handy man and can figure anything out :)...

Is the fuel shutoff the kind of silver flying saucer looking thing?

ok, im going to take a look at the ufo....i remember the outside was pretty dirty.....so maybe some how its just clogged with some dirt?....wut is the little plastic "bottle" that the gas flows into?

sounds like your fuel filter.......

the valve has a plastic diaphram in it..... not a whole lot to get clogged... usually the plastic warps, cracks, or breaks, causing the fuel to flow constantly.... worth a try though...

Stop by home depot, and goto the plumbing isle.... ask for a "brass ice line valve" you should be able to find one that will work.......

Ok well i took it off, and when i took a look there is a little rubber washer in the piece that connects to the ufo thing, and when i took it apart the washer wasnot all the way in, mayb when i unscrewd it it might have came unlodged inside.....but mayb that washer was also causin constant fuel flow.....how would a brass ice line valve work on the scooterr?

well, you would put it downstream from the ufo, and turn it on + off as needed :p

what would keep it from constant flow into the carb

are you sure the fuel in the carb is making it to the cylinder? when you removed the reed cage, di you look down in the crankcase? wet/dry?
