maybe on your speedo the bike went 55 i bet that thing is off by 10mph. what does your bike do now with the mods on it. if your bike went 55 it should do 75 because you should have gotten 20mph with your current mods.

no my speedometer is right because i was next to a car to see if it was correct and it was. Well right now i am going about the same top speed because the carb just adds power and the rs exhaust adds more low end, and the variator just keeps the engine in the powerband so the parts i have installed dont actually give me top speed. They give me a lot more power than my stock parts. I have the 70cc airsal kit with the reed cage but they are not installed yet but i will expect higher speeds when i install them. Anyway adding a 70cc kit with reed valves wont give you 20mph. The 70 will add a lot more power and some more top speed but not 20 mph.

This needs to be... Finished before it gets out of hand...
Sorry, but a majority of the members here have staged their scooters and such...
IMO and many others there is no way a "STOCK" Vino can get to 50 mph...
Not possible unless your rolling downhill and being pulled by something!
Just isn't gonna happen, even derestricted...
With that being said... If yours does... By all means meet up with another member and have them verify it! Until then...
I see no reason to further the "it can" "it can't" topic...

Again as stated earlier, this could be K/PH. I can't figure this out for the life of me. FedDOT regs state all vehicles sold i nthe US must have speedo's in M/PH, yet Vento, Kymco, and and a few others sell their bikes with K/ph speedometers and their odometers also read in km. I can only assume the FedDOT feels these are not street legal to begin with hence not bother to actually enforce their own regs. (We know in most states that these scooters are street legal) The red tape all on of trying to bring a Canadian car in to the states itself can be a pain (I know I've brought three down! State DMV go nuts over km odometers!)
