I bought a new Yamaha C3 tuesday. And 180 miles later It just may be the best money I've ever spent on anything. (transportationwise) Does anyone else own a C3? Let's start a C3 thread! Gabe

I'm three and a half weeks, and 410 miles, into owning a new '07 Yamaha C3 Scooter and still haven't any "Buyers Remorse." The only complaint I have is with the seat. It's not "User Friendly!" After twenty five miles or so it starts to feel like an old oak church pew! To the scoots credit, I live out in the country and the towns are all 10 to 30 miles apart. The C3 wasn't designed for what I'm using it for. (Already I'm thinking about upgrading it to a Vino 125!) laugh.. I've been trying all three grades of fuel available here locally and get the best performance by far with Texaco 91 oct. Premium. (nearly 110 miles per gal. Vs. 101 for texaco's 89 oct.gas.) with more power and nearly no viberation whatsoever. I've found a bicycle touring pack that's nylon and 14"x10" x8" roughly at the shop that works on my mountain bike and have two of them ordered I'm going to have sewn together to make a set of saddlebags. However,I'll need to address the seat before I'll be able to ride far enough to use them!! :D I installed a Maier Windshield early on and it was money well spent making the scoot smoother, a bit quicker getting to speed , and on the top end, and suprising me with how much wind protection it gives. Also, I picked up one mpg average. (which will pay for the windshield in time.) Overall I'm pleased with my new scoot. But I'm already (as I knew I would!) wishing it was bigger! :D Gabe

I have just over 120 miles on my c3 that I have owned for about two weeks. I have just started to commute to work which is about 5 miles each way in Suburban Boston. I usually run beer runs and nightly runs to the gym. There are three vechichles in the household one of them being a BMW M coupe with over 300+ horsepower and I find myself having more fun with my c3. With my first tank of gas I had about 113 miles and probably could have gone more but did not want to chance it. I am 6' 2" and about 200 with long legs and I found the c3 to be the comfortable fitting 50cc. I usually commute in a 2007 Nissan Frontier bit have gone two weeks as of today with out putting gas in it. Very happy with the c3!

I 'm about to 500 miles on mine, and it's beginning to run even better. My local Texaco just upgraded their premium from 91 to 93 octane & I'll be getting my $4.00 fill up tomorrow. We'll see if it makes any difference in mpg. It helps with power and smoothness. I hope Yamaha makes this engine into a 125 (just the way it is. ) When they do, I'll be first in line!! :D Gabe
