Can't remember who was asking but here is a pic of the inside of my case (cover) with the springs and all shown so you can se ehow it goes back togeather if you ever goof up and can't figure it out...

Just Follow the Marks there are Markers on each Part that Shows how it goes back Together..

no special tools needed you have to rotate the kickstarter ,and mess around with the piece with the spring on it, wish i had pics its hard to explain.

I started to take mine off one time to clean around in there... but it "felt weird" and I didn't think it'd be fun to put back togeather so I didn't finish taking it apart...

I Use Monkey Grip Plyers to put it Back on is the at least Less way of doing it

I dont know but when i tried it just kept slipping and i couldnt get it to go back, then i paid are local scooter shop to do it ....40 dam n bucks, and then after i began kicking a few times the spring slips again so now i have to figure it out myself....but i just dont get it lol

It is a pain to get back on but once you get it youll have a method of your own

Same thing happened to me. I found that with the help of a friend and by taking a flathead screwdriver through the hole in the bigger gear and prying against one of the posts sticking up the spring eventually goes on.
