Hey Has anyone in the community had their scoot down to the Crankshaft and main Bearings?? I had so much sand in My Derbi Atlantis ..that I did it the right way and took the crankcase apart..carefully cleaning out the main Bearings (as well as getting new Rubber covers) ..Oh..Did I mention..I pressed them out.?? I'm getting ready to re-assemble The case and wonder if I pack the bearings with Bearing Grease. ( I know..DUH) I have some Excellent Permatex fully synthetic (clear) with teflon I can use.I am just double checking because I know some areas Can't have grease, Or are lubed by the 2-stroke oil alone...... Can I have some thoughts on this?? I really appreciate the help Folks!! John From Jax :D
