for my 06' i'm all malossi. Though as long as you have a non-restricted manifold and reed cage with cabon fiber reeds it will be good. I heard that some company makes a Next Generation reed cage for the original zuma. I don't know much about it but you could mabey see what it is.

The stock 2 petal intake system for the vertical format engine is very restrictive and one of the weakest links in this engine design. There are a few 4-petal, v-cage style intake systems available for the vertical style engines. Polini make a system called a "big valve" intake, Doppler and Dr Top Performances also make 4 reed "v" designed big valve intakes. I've tried all three and like the DR TOP Performances best, then the Polini, then the Doppler. Malossi make great products but unfortunately no 4-petal big valve system is offered.

Remember that once you purchase a big valve 4 petal style system for your prebug you will need to feed it more fuel so a carb re-jet / adjustment will be required.

Yeah i believe the polini big valve has a 21mm carb setup, im still using the stock zuma reed block, and intake, with polini carbon fiber reeds, looks pretty restrictive inside the intake.

that stage 6 manifold looks really good, better then anything else out there, if i didnt already have a polini big valve i would buy that.
