Is the Chappy a moped? I saw a pic, but I couldn't tell. I also found a chappy website, but it was in french.

no its not a moped, its like a Honda CT70 but totally different. but they were street legal and available in both 50cc and 70cc models.

I wanted to know what these things looked like too. They do look like little mopeds that would be fun to ride around.
I found these two pics online.

Thats pretty cool. It looks like a mix between a moped, a scooter, and a mini bike.

awww--the Chappy is really cute ::Ov--do you put your feet on foot pegs or on the little platform--that kinda looks like a scooter foot rest?

Looks like it has footpegs to me. Actually, it looks like a minibike. Those were all the rage with the boys back when I was in jr. high school, along with go-karts... lots of the boys had them, except as I recall they had lawn mower engines. Then when they got old enough to get thier licenses they would upgrade to the little Hondas and what-not that were so popular back then.

I dated a boy that had one of those. He used to take riding on it. And they were cute!

I have 76 model lb80 Chappy, and yes they do have foot pegs. They also made a lb50 and it looks the same as the 80cc.

I like those little things....I like it better then the regular minibike things around....they STILL have lawn mower engines...Where could I score one of those little chappys? And how much do they go for
