For good take off with stage one you need a low-mid pipe... IE: the next RS that provo sells...
If you get into a high RPM pipe, then your scooter won't work well as it won't have the power to push the rpm's...
If you go all out and stage 3-4 it, then you should get a high RPM pipe... such as the C21 or C22 Nardo (I think the brand is Nardo)...

Tinman i see that you posted this question in the old zuma section so you must have the older bike right. if so then the c21 pipes are not made for your bike. if you want a good pipe that you can tune for a close to stock bike all to almost full race, then try the polini 4race. that pipe has plenny of torque and rev and it doesnt have restrictions, its a full chamber pipe.

if you dont plan on going with a complete race set up, the polini 4race is still a good pipe. i had that on my jog and i got 71mph out of the bike. that was with a complete polini corsa cylinder and 4race parts. whats your plan for modifying your bike. get the best parts you can afford from the start so you wont have to redue your set up to make it faster when you want more speed.

jered i am on my 2nd set up on my jog, my 1st was a complete polini 4race and now i building up the bike again with polini evo cylinder watercooled, and complete evo everything except pipe, yasuni will take care of that. and for my zuma i am making plans for a 3rd rebuild. i went from complete 4race to a MHR cylinder and everything else polini evo, now for the 3rd plan, to put in a motor from a bug eye zuma to get better parts and pipe options. this scooter stuff is costing my way too much, but its so much fun, i cannot stop. do you know anybody that has any motors for sale. oh yeah i am goin watercooled on my zuma too.

1st of all, that site is WAY overpriced! Second, please do not post direct links to Provoscooter competitiors.....
With that being said, the LeoVince is an ok pipe, but is not for high rpm's, or race setups!
Jered, care to give your experiances with that pipe?

that's what I have the "leovince" ZX pipe... that's what they sell... it's a low-mid rpm range pipe....
I've no problems with it other than it rusts really easy (chrome finish)...

It's cause it has not chrome, but clear coat painted plain steel. That's why I went flat black with it after cutting it open and derestricting the inner belly of mine.

there are a bunch of race spec scoots but not an association that i know. the island guys are insane about tuning and racing but not as much as the euro guys. there are guys in the philippines that are moving really fast and then theres david toba in hawaii who is amazing with motors.
