Over the past year, Elise and I had spent a good bit of time out on the water. (D@mn jet ski!) And one thing she asked was why the old crab boats which had tu-stroke motors use to put along then pop. I am use to this from old Waukesha and Buddha motors we had on the railroad I use to volunteer on for our old Fairmont motor cars. I guess, I never gave much thought to this as I explained to Elise why old tu-stroke motors pop but then she asked why doesn't the Vino pop, and I had to think about it before trying to explain it all out to her.
But you know what, I kinda miss the pop that the old tu-strokes use to make. Anyone else out there miss how the old motors use to backfire? Or at least those of you who are old enough to remember the old putter-popping of the old, old school motors.
