TNG Venice LX - oil light on

I have an 05 Venice LX and the oil light is on even though the oil tank is full. Any ideas why? Also, I don't know if this is related, but when I rev the engine sometimes it stays revved at a high RPM for a long time, and sometimes it will just die right after. If someone could help me that would be great!

i've sold, ride & service the same scoot ...
for the oil light: look to see if the oil light sensor is connected
right.
the modular connector may be disconnected.
or the sensor is faulty, its stuck or isn't sliding up & the obivious
no/low oil.

as for the other thing good chance the throttle is sticking,
lube the cable. the carb has a spring inside that makes the throttle spring back to idle.
use some .......sorry times up please insert another $0.25
and submit your question to the magic gennie again
