Hello, I'm new to to forum and new to scooters. I'm 18 years old and my Dad is buying me a Vino 125, I'm so stoked to have this because I have never had any type of vehicle that was mainly for me.

So first thing I have done is looked online for a bunch of different mods, upgrades, and performance parts. I'm particularly looking at rollers right now because they are cheap and apparently they can change a lot.

My question is why would someone buy a 12g roller when they have the option to buy a 9g roller? Also which is the best kind of roller to buy. I have noticed we're not aloud to post links so if anyone wants to hint or PM me a good website with the best rollers on it.

Thanks, nice to meet you all.

Doesn't answer my question about the rollers. I have already seen that thread.

Having the different weight roller will effect the "shift" of the tranny in the scoot. If you go with a lighter roller it will put you in a different powerband but that is not always a god thing. If you don't really plan on doing anything but the rollers then go with the twelves but if you would like to do other things than wait save the money and do the variator and springs as well and get the best bang for your buck.
