I decided to be an econocheapy with my scooter helmet, but I didn't want a used Sheol, or a Noland, so I went with Matt's suggestion and bought a pair of HJC's. I have two that I've used for my Vino, and Chetak ( :( ) one a FF, and the other a three-quarter helmet, both comfy for the price. The half face was $95.oo and the FF was $165.oo and both are black. Wind noise at 45 is pretty low on both helmets, though open the FF up and wind noise is annoying above 25mph. These are great econo-friendly scootering helmets for riders anywhere.

Open Face: CL5
Full Face: CL14

That's an issue with most helmets though.

There is a spray you can get to make it not fog up... it's pretty cheap... I'll post the name after I get some sleep... running on 23 hours! YEAH! anyway, you can get it at most places that sell helmets...

and no it's not Fog-X... (by rain-x)

I never had much luck with it.

works well on my new helmet... the blue one from late summer 04... anyway, give or take a little... never works for everyone...

I bought this stuff, called "cat cr**" used for ski googles --works pretty well--very inexpensive. you can do a search and find it online
