Western side of Virginia its about 2hours from washington dc its called Harrisonburg if that helps.

Ah Harrisooburg. Ever get that main road widen? I remember it from last time I was down there all that construction. Stayed in Fulks Run.

yeah king the town has been getting bigger,wow fulks run you were pretty close to me i actually live in rawley springs kinda close to fulks run.

I was in Kingstowne last weekend- Bungalows- ever been there/heard of it?


Harrisonburg- HAHAHAHAH My GF is from there via Virginia Tech. Luigi's Pizza pitchers of beer and pizza for under $10!

Her father is a fairly prominent Veterinarian out there. They deal with cross breading embryos for race horses but their bread and butter is the dairy cows.

LOL, Kingstowne is like 3 miles from the Springfield Mall. (or 8 minutes riding your scooter).

Never ceases to amazed me by how many folks there are on here in the Delmarva+PA region here of the Mid-Atlantic states! I'm gonna split this and move it over to the club section as Delmarva Scooterist or something like that.

Bungalow's in in Kingstowne which is about 3+ hours from Harrisonburg...

I was originally asking because I lived in Burke for a year and then I lived in Fairfax County (Herndon/Reston area near Fair Oaks Mall) for 5 years.
I live in the Provo/Orem area now.

How is scootering in the DC area? Are there enough back roads to travel?
I lived there for many years until 1991--started in DC, then to Arlington, Manassas, Takoma Park & Silver Spring, & worked in Dupont Circle. Now I live in northern Colorado.

Yeah there's still plenty of back roads in Montgomery Co, as well as Loudion, and Fairfax, PG, and etc...
