I have been commuting to work on my Zuma. Love it and wish the weather would allow it year round! Not so much the cold but the road conditions... I put about 35 miles a day on my mostly stock Zuma but was wondering if anyone takes it farther? I was thinking of doing some road trips and wondered if anyone went on long hauls? Obviously easier on Vino 125cc and moded 50cc Zumas, but what about stock? Finding the right path is key. Thoughts?

In my humble .02, 50cc scooters are not intended or adequate for "Highway" use. Modded 50cc's, even though they go faster, are still the basic small, lightweight frame, scooter, not built for road travel. If you are going to travel the 55-65 mph roads and highways, get a scooter built and designed for it.

I was thinking more on the lines of the 45mph range. Lots of backroads b/w here and Boulder. Nice cruise.

I rode the backroads on a roadtrip... went about 100 miles that day.. it held up fine.

As long as you have gas and oil you are good!

I like to keep mine on 40mph and under streets.
