Drive Belt

Iv put a Doppler S3R exhaust and 4g rollers on my stock 55plate BWS. I can smell rubber burning every time i stop after 15 minutes of riding. Is it my drive belt?if not what?

it shouldnt be. i cant imagine that it would be. pull the tranny cover and se if the clutch bell is turning blue. or if the rollers are flat. I've slipped my belt pretty bad and it never smelt like burned rubber. sure nothing is touchin the exhaust? maybe an electrial short?

belt may be slipping. Do you have any symptoms at WOT? If its the original stock one, then it probably is. I would replace it with an athena, bando, or OEM. Stay clear of Kevlar.

Iv checked to see if thers anything touching the exhaust but thers nothing and iv checked for sumthing rubbing the tiers but thats a no so i was guessing its the belt.Well iv allready orded a new belt, its a (DOPPLER REINFORCED RACE BELT) i duno bout any belts so is this a good belt or not?
