the Naked is called that because of the open handlebar set up. i bet you guys didnt notice that those zumas have a flat motor like the bug eye bikes over here. i converted my 2000 into the 12" model and it looks 100 times better with the bigger wheels and sporty tires.

Let Lennox know where you got your 12" wheels... I know he tried with some wheels he had but the rear end was WAY off and couldn't make them match up...

you are so right, thats does suck. if i had my choice of scooters, i would get the jog rr and the piaggio zip. those are the lightest and fastest of all newer scooters.
lennox what rims did you try. if you want diff rims you have to measure your rear axle so that you can match something up. i bet you older aerox rims will fit your bike. i think any of the drum brake minarelli 12" or 13" rims will fit your bike.

Right now, we're on the backside of last year's bug scooter trend, I wouldn't be altogether surprised to see some of the scooter makers pull out of the N. American market again like back in 88. Matt emailed me this morning with his figures for the year so far, and said he's dropping the Kymcos outright, and will not keep any YMC Scooters on the floor anymore. Order only. Matt said the tore only sold 15 scooters so far for 04 down from 38 this time last year. He blames pocket bikes which he hates as much as scooters.

I tried rims form "Adly Moto" minerelli with drum rears.... the front worked, but the shaft at the back had the wrong size splines......

try this place called scooters r us, there in europe and they got plenny bikes. email them and let them know what you got, i am sure they got something for you. you might want to find junk rear axle and send it to them and have them match something up.
