Mod Note: I split this off from the New Vino Pix thread becasue this half took on a life of it's own. We were talking about the new Vino being less manly, and here we bring to life my initial reply, which is meant in just good fun.

I personally don't associate a scooter as being manly, nor does my wife. LOL. But... before I got my hook up, I thought about selling the Mustang for a Miata or a Del Sol, yeah they're chick cars, but chicks dig chick cars! It's easier to impress a woman in a chick car than a penis car Mustang of Camero, LOL.

You can impress a penis owner in a manly mustang lol.... if ur into that  . (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

I have a "cute" 2000 Toyota Spyder that has been my wing man many, many times!

Zuma- room for 2 and if I ever saw 2 dudes on one I would run them off the road.

Homo-phobic? Not at all, just don't like queers.....

haha, ohh god this thread is so funny. More like homo-hater mark. But "hate" is bad bro. I think homo-phobic is more politically correct.

HAHAHA

I am sure someone will pipe up about how many pillow biters I know (NONE that I like) and all that PC crap. I am sure they are very nice people and on and on and it is really bad of me to prejudge people and so on.

For me I have to say I think some thing is wrong with you if you can look at a mans hairy bunghole and it turns you on.

Try to keep in mind here that where I split the thread of was simply meant as humor about cars and not sexuality and life style choices.

You know, one of the things that makes the world the way it is, is that everyone comes from different walks of life, different regions, different upbringings, culture, moral and ethical values. Backgrounds vary umung the way people have gone through life.

Look at Lennox and myself, we're completely 180 on the helmet issue. I can't speak of the reasoning of his opinions, mine stem from the 30+ calls I've arrived at and the 25+ times, I've had to inform families of a death from motorcycling. The things we experience in life shape the perceptions we live through in the present. I'm sorry but people will never agree with each other, there is not going to be a perfect world free of war and disagreement, unless everything becomes doped up zombies. Bullies will always pick on nerds, scooterists will always laugh at blimp pilots, and anime otaku will fight over dubbing or subtitles. As long as people have free thought, people will continue to disagree.

Maybe being a Buddhist and married to an Asian woman has taught me some things. (G-d forbid if she reads this, and I'm sure she will!!!) I'm going to quote a little something I learned as a DeMolay as a kid which greatly shaped the way I turned out, then a little Buddhist text. I'm not going to quote this exactly, nor am I permitted to but just to give you the gist of it:

I will not judge a fellow man, for their deeds or actions could be motivated in a fashion of their opinion unknown to me. I think it falls along the lines of judge ye, less thee be judged, or you can't judge someone till you've walked a mile in their shoes.

But be honest, speak what's in your mind and in your heart, and don't sugar coat your words in PC'ness, they will only sound empty and insincere.

Like i've always said. "If you disagree with another persons views, try putting on their shoes and walking a mile in them, cause then, you'll be a mile away from them and you'll have their shoes" ;)

This thread is a great reason for the "OFF TOPIC" forum....

DAMN...

Bests thing to bring up in it now is religion on race...

Then we'd have the biggest "politacally uncorrect" thread on the internet!

Why walk a mile in someone elses shoes?

Club them in the back, grab the shoes and crank the throttle back on your scooter and now you are a mile away, have their shoes and didn't have to sweat for them.

Elise actually likes me saying that. When I wrote out my reply, it was her who suggested adding in "Asian"

Davey, Iso, you two are too much, LOL, I like it subbed or dubbed, tentacles rock. OT, You ever see Witch Hunter Robin? I thought it was interested to note that when her Vespa broke down she told Almon that she needed to mix the oil and gas by hand while she was fixing that old PX, only in anime do they pay attention to such details. Before anyone goes all PC, WTH is about a girl who hunts witches only to discover she is a witch and turns against the goverment. It's an anime, so it's not real people.

isoscelesjones

Yeah - I saw that one on adult swim. Witch Hunter Robin is pretty good. But I think the best Scooter-related anime is FLCL (or Fooly Cooly or FuriKuri..)

Man I love that show. :D
