ATTENTION: ALL REGISTERED MEMBERS
In the TOS it states that no external links to "sales" site may be posted and will be removed at the discression of the moderator team.
It has become a regular issue where the mod team has had to remove links for the forums.
Please discontinue to post links for any page that might sell parts that could be considered "competition" for the www.provoscooter.com sales page
With that being said, as members of these forums you need to keep in mind that this forum is only up and running from sales that are made through www.provoscooter.com and if you are refering sales to other online stores, then the point of having these forums funded now becomes a cost rather than a income tool...
Forums such as Yahoo groups and such are "FREE" to members and moderators with no costs out of pocket for them. Those web sites use them to promote the main Yahoo pages as well as make money from advertisers to have you viewing those sites! So due to the nature of provo forums being privately funded, no external links to parts suppliers will be allowed and will be removed from the posts...
examples of this are:
eBay links for scooter parts! No matter if it's your auction or one you found! To include, engine, tranny, winshields, etc...
Competitor scooter sites.
What is allowed are links such as:
www.yamaha-motor.com
http://powersports.honda.com/index.asp?bhcp=1
etc... these are not parts web sites that are in competition with provo, these sites are more of informational sites and will be allowed...
Bottom line: if there is a "parts" store on the site you are linking to, DO NOT POST IT or it will be deleted!
If you consistantly post these links then there might be administrative actions against your account that can range from Pm's asking you to stop to being banned...
