A neighbor mixed 2 stroke oil in his gas tank. He was saying he used some gas that was sitting around; 16 to 1 ratio, he claims. Question is..... can the "oil premixer" be disconected so i can run the mixture thats in the gas tank with no extra oil added?
I'm planning on emptying the tank with a sump and putting new gas in. Any thing i should be worried about?
Whats the stock ratio?
I'm needing to know asap!

the stock ratio varies with rpm. I would just remove the gas, and don't disconnect anyhting. you cannot be sure what he actually put in there. It is possible he just put straight gas in, and not mixed and then what? BOOM!

don't make your life harder, leave the oil pump as it is, it's hassle having to mix oil every time you refill with gas, only race engines need to be premixed with oil & not a stock or mildly tuned scooter.
