If a old school zuma had the same mods as a newer zuma although the parts are diffrent which one would be faster im thinking the old school because of weight. What do you guys think?

yeah...
It's a known fact that the old zuma is easier to get going faster!
However... With money not being an object to worry about.. one of us will get going faster than the old ones....
One day...
Hope Lennox gets that 105cc going!

the new zuma would be faster thant then the old zuma with the same mods, even with the weight advantage of the old zuma. the old zuma with the upright motor doesnt rev as much as the flat motor zumas. the upright motor has the reeds on the cylinder and it takes long time for the gas vapors to travel into the crank case, where as the flat motor has the reed cage directly into the crank case so theres no time lost. if you guys with the newer zumas set up your bikes right there wont even be a race, you will kill the older zumas. i am running a malossi mhr cylinder on my 2000 and my friend with a aprilia is only using a polini corsa (flat motor) and smoke me with no problem.
