Ive had my 03 zuma for about 2 years now. Anyways it rained today so I was just driving around off road and I happened to find a fairly large puddle of water, I went there it a couple of times , and then I hit a deep spot which sank the moped all the way up to the seat when I pulled it out, the battery still worked, but it would not turn over. I took off the belt housing cover, the exhaust is off and so is the air filter to dry out. Also I took off the carb cleaned out all the water and nasty gas out of it. also I emptied the water out of the exhaust. Can anyone help me with any other thoughts about how to get it to work?

ps. I also removed the spark plug to dry out.

you should remove the cylinder and take a air hose to the cases......Im sure they are flooded with water.

Yeah, that "might" be the problem. Scooter = on-road (okay, most of the time :))

Jordank? Have you seen that "Scrubs" episode where JT rides His Scooter sasha into one Puddle and swims up from another?

....it's "JD"

You're thinking of Justin Timberlake I think....he doesn't go through puddles....He just likes "walkin on the beach with our toes in the sand"
