Haha, to answer the question of the day.... yes. Anythings possible. You can put a 600cc engine into a vino... with enough modification that is. I thought about doin this myself, but the only practical way of getting a 125cc engine (and your actually gonna need the whole system, transmition, exhast, for exp. Because ones a 2stroke and the other a 4stroke... kinda like oil and water, NOT COMPATIBLE!) is to buy a salvage vino125 for cheap. I don't think yamaha sells the whole get-up new, and if so it would be REALLY expensive. Hope that helps.

thanks but how fast does the 125 go? i just want mine to go like 55-60 so i can keep up with the traffic that says 45 but there going like 50-55 so what do i need to go about that fast? and does the spedo stop after a certin point cause mine stops at like 45 i would say i want a digital one but don't wanna pay the big bucks for one.

My biggest concern would be mounting the motor and getting parts to align with the cvt.

Yeah, whata headache that would be! But to answer ur question buddy, you'll have to stage 3 your lil vino to get those figures. Stage 2 is great, and't you'll easily get to the mid fifties. The great thing about it is they are stages ya know, and you can do em over time!

Personally, I worry with the Vino in post 50mph speeds about braking, and how the substructure handles road vibration stresses. One thing I can say for the year I've been here at Provoscooter Forums is that no one ever touches on th is subject.

The vino at pre50mph range is already pushing it haha! At about 50mph I already start to feel it's lack structure strength, the handlbars are a lot more jittery, and brakes.... ohhh boy, don't expect to make any sudden stops! But thats what makes it exciting!!! :D
