Found this on the Yamaha Japan website.
Jered- no reason to keep from scootering if you get these!

that'd be cool.... but the only problem is I'm military.... live on base... and the base commander bans 2 wheels vehicles once the roads get icy...

So i'd get a ticket and possible driving ban for riding!

So... I have to wait!

I've ridden an bicycle in Idaho in the winter on icy surfaces and stuff. I actually felt more stable than walking but I'm not sure a scooter would be as easy to control in such conditions!

Ive did it before just had to go a lil slower, and hold it steady over the snow, and ice. Wasnt fun having to come to a stop though kept sliding.

We didn't get the snow we expected so no snow chains for me today.

im usually the hardcore kinda rider any temp but dang, being 25 ,and the wind chills, then on top of it, it started flurrying on my ride home yesterday. Made for a very cold ride, the scooter likes that cold air though.
