ive always liked the derbi predator, its look good,and ive seen some kit i think on mopedworld that put it up to 80mph, heck my friend has one it pop wheelies after only being de-restricted.The only downside is the price.

Hey Lennox..And all to the Forum..I have a Real interesting Story..I had the chance in October to buy A 2002 Derbi Atlantis Wave..For $300..It was an Insurance "Total" (1032 miles on the odometer)..Here's the catch..It was An Attempted theft..and it wasn't started..So they decided to dump it into the Intercoastal Waterway..Jacksonville Florida. You don't Even Know Know How much Sand and Salt !! ( I have Taken The Scooter Almost Completely Apart}I have Talked to Josh (of Derbi west fame) and Skull at Badmotorscooters..I was going to stage Two..But I found A Low mile 50cc Piston and Head..I will get the Scooter going on the stock set-up then go with the Metra kit.. stage Two/Three ...Early next year ..stay Tuned..It Is amazing how close the Jap/Spanish scooter Engines are.. For now..John

quite a story lol sounds like a good winter project,also i would stay away from badmotorscooter me,and some other members have had bad experinces dealing with them.

I have Heard the same thing about Bad motor Scooters..I haven't ordered anything from them..I have been Talking to Josh at Derbi West and he seems to have all the "Stock" parts that I need..I will keep Provo in Mind when I order the Stage II kit..I like The Metra kit parts.. John

The (supposed) Derbi Dealer near me..(Jacksonville Fl) has given up on Derbi and concentrated on all Vespa..They say the Derbi prices are up there with the Vespas..And people want the name and the metal body panels.. I myself like modern looking scooters..And I like Derbi. John
