Stock '01 Zuma- cheapeast performance upgrades?

I have a stock '01 Zuma and would like to make it go a little faster (5mph or so) and have a little better acceleration. What are the best sub $150 upgrades? I don't really have $250 to spend on the complete Stage 1 kit yet.

How much of a boost will that give me? Is there an installation manual available online?

I reckon a decent pipe and change the torque spring & rollers.
