8 months ago me and my dad dropped off his Turbo Hayabusa in Cleveland to get a new kit. These are the results.

WOW... I was going to say something about my jet making 44,000 lbs of thrust and going mach .84... but a motorcycle that makes 528.29 bhp? I'll bite my tongue and stand in awe.

On a good day on the street that would probably make closer to 550 rwhp. Rich settings, altitude, wheelspin, ect...

hybridrazz-Mr. Turbo is THE worst Turbo guy you can go to. He has horrible kits. He's stubborn and only uses technology from 20+ years ago. He makes the most un-reliable kits in the world. Absolutley Horrible.

Davey-boi- Are you kidding? If he wanted attention he would ride a $50,000 Harley naked with a Santa Claus hat in 20 degree weather. Basically what I'm saying is...Who cares about freakin attention?!

It's a Forum about Hayabusa's, but the admin is Dennis Clanton A.K.A Motorhead. He is the same guy who is doing my dad's bike. He's the best guy in the country for turbocharging any motorcycle.

Well, whats the point of going 190mph is basically what I'm saying. Last I checked the fastest you can go on most highways is 70mph. I've read a lil snip-it of your pops forum and he was saying it's a street bike, not a racing bike... so I take it he won't be racing it. Thus leading to my conclusion, he wants attention and could get just as much riding a dope ~butt~ scoot :) .

I'm 14 years old, do you think I've used "Mr. Turbo's" stuff? Of course not. But there are videos out there of Mr. Turbo kits blowing up, and thousands of testimonials. Seriously, Mr. Turbo is very, very bad.

Did you seriously just ask me what's the point of going 190? Haha, it's fun! Of course its not a race bike. And my father is not out to just turn head's, I assure you.

Most cars go faster that 70MPH- even mommy-mobile minivans.

What is the use for it? To run from the cops af course! HAHA

(just kidding King Vino)

yeah, 90 mph minivans are hard for the coppers to keep up with, lol.

I rode a Hayabusa is singapore...

all I have to say is that is one bad beast of a motorcycle even before they are modded...

I've stayed away fro mthis thread because it makes me miss my old Honda Hurricane (CBR1000F), plus Elise won't let me have another sport bike! (Then again she's back in Singapore :)

Now when I had the Mustang, top end didn't mean a thing, it's just how fast you can get there :) (Quarter mile time!)

The fastest that I have ever ridden a motorcycle was 145mph. (i was wearing a helmet) Even though I hid behind the ferring, my neck HURT the next day from the wind pressure. Now that I am a LITTLE older/wiser going that fast on 2 wheels is stupid  If you are alone on a highway that would be one thing, but far to often you see people doing 100+ on surface roads  weaving in traffic, and looking for the GRIM REAPER!!

Yeah, my dad is 56 years old. One crazy old geezer if you ask me!
Wisdom does come with age on some occasions, but then again, the more you know the less you know.
King, I agree with you, top speed isn't all that important...but when you have a Turbocharged Hayabusa, you make enough tourqe at 180 mph plus to rip your arms off. Plus the ability to break 240 kinda makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside...
Lennox, your right. Weaving through traffic at 100+ on a rice rocket is somewhat dumb...but you gotta remember. There are really really good riders out there, lol.

I always worry about others abilities on the road, not mine ;) Especialy here in Florida, there are blue hairs driving all over  Most of wich should no longer have the right to drive

And yes, acceleration is the best....... thats how I set my waverunner up..... it only tops out at about 63-65 but it goes 0-60 in a little under 4 seconds!!! :D

SuperDaveJr.
12-13-2004, 06:59 PM
Yeah that sounds a lot like my KTM. It probably goes around 60 but it gets there lightning fast.
