I'd love to see Erich carry some of the scooter parts and accessories from Simon in Japan.
More reviews of tires, shocks, as well as performance parts. Also a "for sale/swap forum" so we can sell scooter related items we no longer want or need or trade with others.
It would also be cool to have some more "how to's" with photos such as changing a tire, installing a shock, re-jetting, installing the Japanese blinkers.
I know most of you guys are more mechanically savvy than us women. I am willing to try anything if I have visual aids. I really like step by step procedures for doing something I have never done before. I de-restricted my exhaust, changed by tranny oil & installed a shock by myself. I am very grateful for all the help on this forum and the Provoscooter website.

"how to's" with photos such as changing a tire
I did up a how to without pics... I'll take some pics here in a couple days to add the removal of the rear and front tire... but I'm not gonna post the tire removal... as it's more of a pain to get the tires filled with air...
IE: I took mine to a tire changing shop after changing them so they could put air in them... it's not very easy to get the bead to seat....

hey jered i used a simple trick to seat my tires. I soaped up the bead and used a cargo strap that racheted and wrapped it around the middle of the tire all the way around and tightened it down the bead seated every time.Just dont overtighten the strap since the tire needs some room to expand once it fills with air.

back to topic there is so much good info here you can find the best parts for the speed you wanna run, also if you have tuning problems the forum can help you with that too,and most likely a member has already did the mod that the other members want to do so its a win win situation.

I wish there were more locals on the board. I originally started coming here because I was looking for scooter people in Provo. I enjoy everyone that's on here, but I wish that there were more :)
Yea I'd like to see some more hard to find Japanese only parts as well as more variety of performance parts,(polini proma metrakit, more Euro race parts, LC kits, tuning tools (clutch puller, piston stop, etc.) :D

One thing I would like is more communication with Erich, who I have un officially dubbed... The Godfather. The few comments he has made on these forums are gold, just with he would make more. Cool cosmetic accessories would be welcome and I agree with Susan, we need more how-to's (reed valve install).
This is a great resource for any scooterist though, and a great community. I've met some pretty cool people too. It would be awsome if we were all local... we would have a sweet ass scooter club lemme tell you!

By site do you mean Provoscooter.com the store or Provoscooter.com | Forums because both are not directly run the same.

King--I actually meant both sites--the store site has the "how to's" & some cool parts which I can link to from here and this site has the helpful members.:)

I just wanted to elaborate on something...
This is just an informative poll... but I'm sure erich will take a look at it and possibly use some of the ideas as well as the mod team will take what your feedback and run with it as best as possible...
So... I noticed that there were a BUNCH of votes for the MORE PARTS PERIOD one...
Please elaborate further on this... IE: I emailed erich and asked for a quote on a MHR replica cylinder... It's now on the way from Malossi and will be sent to me soon... So... Let it be known what your looking for in this forum as well as the sales@provoscooter.com email address and you never know... he might get one just for you or start stocking an item depending on demand for it...
Also, please leave detailed messages here.. IE: I want more pipes... Mean what? compaired to I want a jollymoto carbon fiber 70 pipe... BE detailed... that way it can be looked into.. as PIPE in general... doens't help much for ordering parts on erich's end...
BTW, thanks for those who have already posted and you guys ROCK!

Hey King..I wouldn't mind if the "New Posts " would hang around a little longer..LIKE..A whole days..New posts...And..Why..sometimes when I try "NEW POSTS" ..The "No Info' thing comes up..(lack of a better word)....is that when You are working on the site? JOHN

when you click "new posts"
It pulls all the new posts since the last time you logged in! After they are viewed... they will normally pull up again within 5 or so minutes... after that... They are no longer "NEW POSTS!"
FYI: the parts listed on www.provoscooter.com are "awesome starter" parts... Once you get into bigger and better things... you need to contact erich at provo's email (sales@provoscooter.com) once you need "super mod" parts... then this is the way to go...
However you also need to research... I personally went the way of a polini cylinder, which unfortunately provo doesn't have access to... So... With that being said... I've purchased a Boat load of parts from provo and believe 110% in provo sales and forums sites... also give 110% to back erich of my support!
However after some "between the lines" and extra research... I decided on a part he doesn't stock... But everything that he can get, I'll buy through him...
Think that covers it... Jered
