WOW...is this thing SLOW!! My honda spree had more pulling power of the start. Might as well forget about pulling on to a public road.
Anyone know for sure if the older mod parts works?? I gotta do something. My old 85' Aero 50 would straight run over this turd....

I too have the slug of an 08. Axton is sending me an 05 carb so im going to strip them both down to compare them. So far all can tell is the throttle cam on the 08 has a huge stopper molded on to it. Im going to be in seattle soon so I will have access to a welder then Im going to cut the pipe apart and investigate on how to disable that cat it makes it run very rich.

its better to just get a used pipe from somewhere then to start cutting up your stock pipe.

Please keep us updated!!
So basically its not opening the throttle all the way? If thats the case you should be able to look down the carb and see if the slide is completely open on full throttle.

bought a 08 zuma to replace my stolen Fee.
very disapointed as i was driving away from dealer(almost got pancaked pulling out!).
took the advice and dremeled out the throttle restriction. much better! now faster off the line then every car ive been next to at the stoplights(not that they couldnt if they tried). 42 on flats, close to 50 going down one big hill, and with a passenger still got up to 37(on flat).
with a little work on the air box and exhaust, i think it will be doing wheelies and cruiesin mid 40's no prob.
