new or old Zuma? For the old Zuma, you can cut the red wire (i think its red) to dissable the limiter.
Do you have a tach? I do not think that the setup you have will reach the limiter?

Try this link. (http://www.provoscooter.com/vbull/showthread.php?t=915) - Not sure if this will help but worth reading and I am sure someone else can pipe in on this thread to shed more light on the subject..

Sorry-
I went to "New Post" and didn't see what forum (Old Zuma) you were in..(I am guessing Lennox did the same thing..)
Anyway-
Lennox was corrct-
On early BWS motors the rev limiter can be removed by disconnecting the red wire from the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) unit to the wiring harness.

well i guess im just going to try the cdi unit its the only basic mod i havent did yet, gives me a good excuse to move on to the evo or jollymoto exhaust and the evo cylinder, and the intake manifold with the 4petal reed block.
