i installed my 70cc kit and carb kit this weekend and it runs great. i do have a few questions though:
first= i got the throttle cable for it and it works good it just has too much free play so we had to do a little work the take some play away, and there is no throttle stop now so if the throttle gets twisted forward like on hard braking it gives it throttle.
second= i have the oil injection hooked up and it seems to run fine. is it ok to run injection still on the big bore with carb kit. and it really runs strong but does sputter a little mid range.

any help would be good

it might be a good idea to put some oil in the
gas also it helps with the break in.
you can soft seize the motor you have a new top end..

for the cable look on the net for a cable company
that sells parts ,you can cut the end off yours and
solder on a new barrel ... custom bike builders do it all the time

can i still run the stock injection though? the cable isnt to big of a deal. it works it jsut doesnt have a stop in the housing. would a stage6 v force 3 zuma reed cage work in my vino too?

I believe the vino cage is different, so I would guess no. but double check.

you "can" run the stock injection, just pull out the pump a lot to get more oil injected.

Mine didn't fit.

Here's a reed cage compatability list off the Polini web site:
YAMAHA: AEROX 100 - AEROX H2O - AEROX H2O 2004 - AEROX H2O 2005 - AXIS - BREEZE - BWS 100 - JOG JOG Z - JOG R 50 - JOG R 50 (Euro 2) - NEO S 100 - VINO - WHY - YE 50 ZEST

Pre-mix your oil. It is the only way to guarantee that you are getting 50:1 mix. The auto lube is inconsistent across the rpm band, and on some carbs the lube connection is little more than a drip port into the intake (like the lube dribbling in there is going to be stratified?) This is what I have been told by many people who have built high performance scooter engines.

I have a $300 cyl kit on my scoot. With it running at 11,000 rpm at 65mph, Im not going to trust the lubrication (and possibly my life) to a dribbler and cheap pump.

ok one more Q. i work at a yamaha shop so i ordered some motorex forza 2t and a new fuel can. i also know a few places that sell 100octane leaded race gas. will it run good in my scoot?

you dont need 100 octane race gas. 92+ pump gas is fine as long as you are running 14:1 or less compression. You would only worry about this if you are running an MHR Team, Hebo Manston, or Polini EVO kits (or similar full race cyl).

BTW, Forza 2t is good along with Motul 800, Repsol YPF, and Lucas (which is actually a semi-synth, but I have had very good results with). Steer clear of Belray Synth 2t, I had a rediculous amount of carbon buildup with that stuff...
