Malossi Multivar issue

I tried installing my Malossi Multiver the other day with the big white spring, after I got it all installed I started it up, and there was a pretty bad noise, then I gave the trottle a turn, and I heard the most wretching Grinding noise ever, I don't know what it could have been, and it was too dark to take it apart at that point, I am going to look at it tomorrow, any idea what it might have been? it is not that easy to put in, at least for me...please help.

if using the stock clutch, the t-spring may have bound inside it. cleaning the enamel off the spring usually helps.

you also may have not tightened that nut which holds everything in enough. this has happened to me and basically everything falls apart inside. make suer that you get that damn nut tight.
