Hello,
We've just picked up an '01 Vino in great shape. Thing is it sat for awhile. (Nobody knows how long, at least 1 year we know.)
So when we get the scoot kickstarted it actually idles very nicely. But bogs down with any throttle at all. We'd planned on a cleanup so no problem. Replace plug, disassemble carb and clean, and de-restrict pipe. Put it all back together with a fresh tank of gas.
Starts right up. But trying to accelerate it bogs down and dies. Adjust screws on carb (don't really know what we're doing). Now seems to run great. However if throttle is turned to WOT she dies.
So are the brass parts inside the carb adjustable. If so where should they be? Is thightened down the right answer?
How is the carb adjusted? What's the baseline to begin from? (i.e screw turns out)
TIA
