This is a repost becasue stupid Zuma's ban caused all sorts of issues with the thread :( I personally like the Metro, the looks and the reliability. Learned to ride on a Rebel. Use to ride a Honda CBR-1000F crotch rocket. Just a shame the scooters gotta have that bloody four-stroke.

well I have a couple answers... the engines SUCK!

They look good... I was gonna buy one but the dealer tried to charge $200 over MSRP on a 03 in june of 04...

and the power isn't there...

More geared to younger females IMO... as they are NO MOTOCYCLE license rides...

I also like the looks of the Metro--kind of a funky retro style and really like the old Honda Joker.
Honda needs to come out with a 125 or 150 Metro for the US & Canadian markets.

I like the Metro for the same reasons I like the Vino... it has a more retro look compared to most of the other scooters on the market today. I also like the wild color schemes available on the Metro... kiwi, checkers, and my favorite, blue hibiscus. If I would have stumbled onto a blue hibiscus Metro before I found my Vino I might have bought it just for the color scheme! But then again, maybe not. I really wanted a 2 stroke scooter simply because you can get much better performance out of them then a 4 stroke, and when you only have 49cc to work with that becomes very important. Besides, I like the look of the Vino better than the Metro, colors not withstanding.

One of my coworkers has a Metro (he's a Honda fanatic) and I was kind of leaning towards a Metro until I started doing research. I researched it for months and decided that I wanted a 2-stroke, metal body, manual shift and the only scooter that fit my criteria was the classic vespa or the Stella.

I Still Like The 250cc BIG RUCKUS..No..I havent ridden this scooter yet..and I have no Experience with Honda Scooters..But..I think This one is for BIG riders.. ...Just a thought..I will look locally for a dealer..John

honda elites are cool though i think but the rest are just ugly lookin too boxxy i guess the ruckus is cool like if you wanna go through a SWAMP!?!?!but thats about it.So if i ever had the choicea dio/elite would be it they makes 125 strokers for them which i think it would be cool to have a 125cc 2 stroke not that i won't be able to keep up with those bikes i think it would be cool to have though just the tittle of having it lol it sounds like a bad scooter 55 bore 52 stroke 90+mph haha o_o
