I bought a 2006 Atlantis 2 weeks ago and I am very happy with its performance. The only problem it has is a high frequency vibration when accelerating and decelerating in the 30 - 40 km/hr speed range mainly. The vibration causes the plastic cowlings at the front and the mirrors to vibrate and 'buzz'. The wheels were balanced the day before I picked up the scooter so that is not the problem. It does not seem normal that it would do this. Does anyone have any idea what might cause the problem and how I might fix it?

I sometimes have that problem too. I believe it is a resonant frequency at those speeds that are making things vibrate and make a loud noise.

Mine is due to a few broken clips. The plastic dash separates from the where it joins the wind deflector and it vibrates and makes a heavy noise if I don't force it back into place.

Check for any loose screws or broken joints.
