i bought a '93 Elite 80 recently to use as a back-up bike while i wait for
parts/work on my 2t (ok, i bought it because i'm compulsive and it was on
Craig's List for cheap, Lol).
bought it, drove a block - belt shredded and took the front pulley with it.
-just got it back from the shop and everything seems to be just great.
(finally some good news for me, scoot-wise ;wink))
i knew what it was when i bought it, but i'm wondering if anyone has any info on the following:
1.) can it be retrofitted w/ a MANUAL choke?
(small 4t Honda engine + cold start = suck.)
2.) is there any way to install a kickstart?
(i know, i'm probably dreaming here.)
3.) anyone have any info on refitting a front disc/wheel on these old girls?
(i'd obviously need new front end as well.)
just thought i'd throw these out to the Guru's - see what i got back.
